Performance Chiropractic traces its roots back to 1979, when Dr. Nat Shaye opened the Shaye Chiropractic Clinic in Newport News, VA. Dr. Shaye’s wife Brenda was the office manager, and their son Daniel was in charge of cleaning the office and sorting newsletters. When Daniel became Dr. Daniel Shaye in 1996, the doctors Shaye formed Performance Chiropractic and opened the Williamsburg office.

What a great experience with Performance Chiropractic! Both Doctors Shaye and Panick are top notch chiropractors who present themselves as professionals (in knowledge, mannerisms, clothing). They really care about their patients and are very thorough in getting to the root of your issues. They truly recognize that your time is just as important as theirs and they make sure you are promptly in and out. My care to date has been outstanding Let's not forget the behind-the- scenes activity as well. This is one of the cleanest offices I have ever experienced, which is crucial in helping patients feel comfortable with their care. The ambience is excellent. The front office administrators are welcoming and friendly, while also being extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of billing, scheduling and paperwork. I highly recommend this business for your chiropractic needs!
I've been going here regularly since I hurt my back in 2012. Besides my deep trust and admiration for Dr. Shaye, it has really helped me regularly take care of my body (before it becomes a serious problem.) The office staff has changed over the years, but they have been consistently cheerful and helpful and I have had a lot of schedule changes that I have needed that attitude for. I honestly think that having a provider that you trust and can talk to is critical to a long and healthy life so I'm glad to be part of Performance Chiropractic (and I love to hear what everything Dr Shaye is up to!)
