I chose AMA Powersports for the convenient location and posted hours, but my experience was disappointing. The listed business hours were not accurate, which made communication difficult.
I dropped my bike off for a simple job and supplied all parts in advance. I was quoted up to two hours of labor, but the bike was kept for a full week and I was charged for four hours. Communication was inconsistent, and I had to stop by in person for updates. Based on this I would not be interested in on taking my bike back.
**This is my second attempt on reviewing this particular business. I replaced the original to not unfairly hurt the star ratings. After the first one I apparently hurt some feelings. This was not my intent and I do not get any joy of posting negative reviews. I know the importance of small businesses and try to support them as much as possible. I write honest reviews and give compliments as often as I can. Through out my several accounts I have over 600,000 views. I believe it's important to be a friendly customer and give the business as many opportunities to make things right. I will say that after seeing the original review the owner did offer a free oil change and attempted to make things better from his end. I will not be accepting the free oil change but as I stated, it was offered. It's important to remember that is just 1 person's opinion. Unfortunately being able to give reviews is how the world is and it's up to the business to keep from getting negative attention.

AMA IS TRULY THE BEST THEY GOT MY SONS GO KART REPAIRED FOR HIM IN SUCH A TIMELY MANNER FOR HIS 9TH BIRTHDAY!!! THEY WENT OUT THEIR WAY AND REPAIRED SOME LITTLE TRINKETS FOR NO CHARGE!!! THEIR TOTAL PRICE ON THE REPAIRS WERE OH SO FAIR!!! I APPRECIATE THEM AND THEIR WORK I'M BRINGING HIS DIRT BIKE AND WE ARE NOW LOYAL TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Let me start by saying I drove past 3 shops and over 1.5 hrs to come to ama. I have used all 3 of those same shops before and will never go back! Ama is not only extremely knowledgeable, but they don't age discriminate on bikes.. my 1992 looks better than ever ! Other shops just laughed and said good luck.. not Ama. I got my rear drum break replaced, and my wheels powder coated/polished.(I wasn't even looking to). They were always in contact with the time frame, questions to clarify my wants, and priced fairly. They got a forever customer out of me. I appreciate it alot guys, this summers been fun on my bike!

Quick turnaround on my tire change, they had the tube I needed in stock, and were able to do my kids mini bike wheel. Other places seem to turn me away. Thanks Chris!
