Opened in 2022 and based in Williamsburg, Virginia, Cookie Chris has been a dessert shop selling tasty, homemade custom cookies in many different flavors. Chris, our founder, has been baking since he was a child, and at 16, he opened his own dessert shop!
About Cookie Chris
I would consider myself a cookie connoisseur. From having crumble, insomnia, to store brand cookies, I really enjoy what Chris cookie brings to the table. 1. They're big cookies, they're filling, and but too sweet. 2. I enjoyed the consistency. I like a cookie that's not too soft or cake. And these were crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside. While that may not be everyone's preference it was def mine 3. The flavors had a lot of range and variety which I really appreciated. Everything from chocolate pecan , to pumpkin spice, and a classic chocolate chip. I ordered 4 cookies and two ice creams as well as 2 waters for about $34. Ice cream wasn't anything to write home about, but it did pair nicely with the cookie. There were also milk and other drink options available. I love supporting a local business. While I'm not a local and just visiting the area. I think it makes the area unique and a good representation for the community than a big chain. I love what they do and the staff their is friendly and helpful. Store has plenty of seating, different ways to pay, ample parking, and in general just good vibes. They stay open fairly late too if you ever want a midnight snack
This place has clean, great customer service and delicious food. My cookie was so soft and warm that it tasted like it was freshly out of the oven. The milkshake had the perfect blend of rich, creamy vanilla that flowed smoothly through my straw. I would definitely recommend this place. 10/10
I went in and got two iced oatmeal one chocolate chip and one birthday cake I took a bite out of each of them The iced oatmeal tastes more like almond which happened to be one of their other flavors. I am not able to explain how you can mess up a chocolate chip cookie but it was bad.
We had a great first visit to Cookie Chris! The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly. We opted for the 12-cookie box and it was perfect for trying different flavors. Here’s what we got: French Toast – A little firm, but had a fun Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor. Blueberry Crumble – Unique with nice little bursts of blueberry. Vanilla Cupcake – My kids’ favorite! Soft and sweet. Strawberry Cheesecake – My son loved it. Orange Creamsicle – My mom’s favorite! Chocolate Chip – My personal favorite—classic and not overly fancy. My only small complaint was that they were out of three flavors when we arrived, and the display didn’t reflect that. My mom really wanted the peanut butter chocolate, but even with that, the staff still made it a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
I love Cookie Chris! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The Williamsburg location is very clean, and I love that there is a place to take selfies with the sign. The cookies are amazing, and I always look forward to what the weekly cookies will be.
