The service was excellent. Our server was very nice and attentive. When I complained about my fish, the manager quickly addressed my concern. My husband ordered the cioppino and I ordered halibut and crabcake. My fish was overcooked the first time and had no flavor the second time after I voiced my concern. The crabcake was on the salty side. I ended up eating myself my husband‘s cioppino. Most of the seafood in the cioppino were overcooked. The sauce was plain tomato sauce and not made with fresh tomatoes. The pasta itself was overcooked and also had no flavor. I really want to like the restaurant because the server and the manager were very nice. Unfortunately, the food was just not good that day.
The food was great! The Halibut was cooked to perfection and the charred grilled corn and carrot really complemented the fish. Crab Ravioli is also exceptional! Our server Nicole really did a great job and was very accommodating.
Our group of 3 had a wonderful Saturday dinner! The waitstaff, especially our waitress Luna, were polite and attentive. I ordered blackened rockfish (from the daily specials) with baked mac n' cheese and green beans. The sides were a tad bland but helped with salt and pepper. The blackened rockfish on the other had was exceptional! Throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, which was a soft blue nautical without being tacky or dingy.
I have been here twice and both times, the service and atmosphere has been outstanding, but I am not a fan of their food. I had overcooked, soggy shrimp the first time. And the latest visit, I had the crab cake sandwich. It had a horrible aftertaste that lasted the rest of the day. The bottled beer was great, but overpriced, and the crème brûlée was tasty and beautifully decorated.
The food was very bland. It could benefit from some seasoning in their batter. I was disappointed that there is no customization of the plates, such as getting their seafood platter broiled with only the flounder fried. Portions were large. We ordered Korean Ribs as an appetizer. They tasted and felt like they were microwaved before being brought out. Staff was super friendly and nice. Atmosphere was 90s Red Lobster. Made me smile.
